Championing Healthy Minds
Promoting Wellness and Empowering Individuals With Valuable Resources for a Healthier Future
Our Belief
We strongly believe that education is the cornerstone of a healthier and more informed society. By offering free books and resources covering topics like building a healthy future, mental health awareness, and drug prevention, we aim to empower individuals to make informed choices and lead more fulfilling lives.
Explore Our Range
Our books are categorized into three main focus areas. There are books specifically for school use and others for families and communities to use – all available in both English and Spanish. While resources are available to everyone, they have been organized to meet the needs of specific age groups and maturity levels. The authors of the resources have been intentional about creating a comprehensive learning experience.
The Red Ribbon Campaign is a celebration of drug-free life,” says DBHDD personnel at the Office of Behavioral Health Prevention and Federal Grants. Preventing alcohol, tobacco, and other drug abuse is central to the mission of DBHDD’s Office of Behavioral Health Prevention and Federal Grants. For years, the Red Ribbon Campaign Kickoff in October has aimed to raise awareness about the dangers of drugs and alcohol in a way that engages youth.
"Reaching people early in life is key. The impact that substance abuse has on families and communities is devastating. The good news is that the longer we can keep a young person drug-free, the brighter their future,” says the Office of Behavioral Health Prevention and Federal Grants personnel. "It is important that young people are encouraged to remain drug-free year-round, and here at DBHDD, we continue to offer that message throughout the year.”
